Description:
KPS (Potassium Persulfate) is a high-purity, solid inorganic compound used primarily as a polymerization initiator and oxidant. Its excellent water solubility and stable oxidizing properties make it valuable in both industrial production and specialty chemical processes. KPS offers reliable performance under standard conditions, with a controlled decomposition profile for safe use in formulations.
Key Features:
- Reliable and consistent initiation performance in polymer reactions
- Non-flammable, but a strong oxidizer—handle with care
- Shelf-stable when kept dry and below 30 °C
- Free of SVHCs and compliant with REACH regulations
Note: this product contains higher-than-standard iron levels. While the standard Fe specification is <5 mg/kg, these batches contain 23.8 mg/kg and 27.8 mg/kg respectively. Though this exceeds the usual threshold for some customers, no visual or physical degradation is observed, and all other quality parameters, including flowability and stability, remain within specification. Use suitability should be assessed based on end-product sensitivity to iron content.
