Description:

4805X is a second quality HDPE grade obtained during the transition between two production grades. The material features a melt flow index of approximately 0.3 g/10 min and a density of 954 kg/m³, characteristics typical of high-density polyethylene intended for general-purpose applications.

Because it originates from a transition phase, the material may display variations in color, homogeneity, or mechanical properties, resulting in batch-to-batch heterogeneity. For this reason, it is classified as second quality .

Despite this, 4805X remains a functional, versatile, and cost-effective polyethylene, ideal for applications where premium technical performance or high aesthetic standards are not essential.

Note: The grade originates from a transition between two HDPE production grades, leading to variations that prevent sale as prime material. Therefore, it is released as a second-quality product at a competitive price.
