Description:

Preventol ON Extra is a phenolic-based biocide containing biphenyl-2-ol as the active substance. It is a high-purity, solid material used for the formulation of disinfectants, antiseptics, and preservative systems. 
The product is approved under the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) for PT1, PT2, PT3, PT4, PT6, and PT13, while PT9 and PT10 are under evaluation by ECHA. Its broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity makes it effective against bacteria, fungi, and algae in diverse environments.

Note: From an original lot of 1500 kg, 375 kg remain in storage. The material is still within shelf life and chemically stable, though partially clumped. Suitable for formulators able to reprocess or grind the product prior to use.
