Aglutex ALG120W is a sodium alginate (E401) derived from algae, valued for its versatility in food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic applications. It is cold-process soluble, easy to handle, and improves texture, viscosity, and mouthfeel. While this material has a lower gelling power compared to standard alginates, it maintains excellent viscosifying properties, making it suitable for applications where viscosity enhancement is critical.
